Information we collect
Names you type into a tool
Styling happens in your browser using JavaScript. The text you type is not sent to our server and is not stored by us.
Anonymous copy counts
When you copy a style, your browser sends us the platform (for example “wa” for WhatsApp) and a style code such as “fancy:12:Bold”. It does not include the name you typed. We add these counts together to show which styles are popular.
Spam protection
To stop automated abuse of the copy counter and the contact form, your IP address is turned into a scrambled (hashed) key and kept for a short time: one minute for copy counts and ten minutes for the contact form. After that it is deleted automatically.
Contact form
If you send a message, we receive your name, email address, topic and message. They are stored in our website dashboard and sent to our inbox so we can answer. We keep messages only as long as needed to deal with your request, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and to keep the site running.
Data stored on your device
The tools save your favourite names and a few settings in your browser’s local storage, so they are still there next time. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
Cookies
StylishNameX does not use advertising or tracking cookies at the moment. WordPress, the system the site runs on, sets cookies only for logged-in site administrators. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so no font service sees your visit.
Advertising and analytics
We do not currently show ads or use third-party analytics. If we add them in future (for example Google AdSense or Google Analytics), those services may use cookies to show and measure ads. We will update this page before that happens and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Children
StylishNameX is a general audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted. Because we hold very little (mainly contact form messages), the simplest way is to write to us through the contact page.
